The Jacksonville Jaguars schedule for the 2025 season is officially out, so here are some key notes. The Jaguars will play the usual 6 division games, along with 8 games against the NFC and AFC West, and the remaining two games being against the Carolina Panthers being the season/home opener, and hosting the New York Jets in week 15.
Two of the NFC and AFC West games will be primetime games. The first will be at home against the defending AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs in week 5 on Monday Night Football, and the second being in week 7 against the LA Rams in London at 9:30 AM ET.
Another key part of the schedule is the bye week coming after the London game, which never occurred even after they began to play two games in London. This comes right at the halfway point of the season, so this will allow the team to adjust, get healthy and regroup after a long trip across the world.
Some other notes are the Jaguars qb matchups. There are almost no gimme games against subpar quarterbacks, so the defense will be tested quite a bit. Much of these games come in the first half of the season, where the worst quarterback they will face is likely Sam Darnold, who is still an experienced veteran coming off a career year.
The final game is once again hosting the Titans, and will how this division has been over the past half decade, it could be for the division, similar to the 2022 season. The beginning of the season will tell us a lot about how improved this team is, and we all can't wait to find out.
